Quad-core power!

I just built a new quad-core Q9450 machine loaded with 4GB RAM and other goodies that I will detail later. I finally took the DX10 Windows Vista plunge and pinned the performance rating at 5.9.

Loving my new MacBook Pro

This is by far my favorite Mac that I have owned. My first was a PowerMac G5. It was nice and powerful with plenty of room for expansion of which I didn't do any. After that, I wanted an Intel Mac based on Merom Core 2 Duo. There was something about a Mac with an Apple display. Enter the iMac. After that, I need to be untethered so went with the MacBook Pro and haven't looked back...

Taking Risks...

So what does this mean to me? If you don't shoot, you will definitely not score. However, this doesn't mean shoot every time you have the puck. Wayne Gretzky had the puck a lot. He had more assists than goals. He certainly didn't shoot every time he had the puck either. It's knowing when to shoot and not being afraid to try. Use this in life for real world experiences. I try to keep this conscious along with the previous quote of it's risky not taking risks. Wayne Gretzky is my favorite athlete of all time and a certain role model for all.

June 7th, Wizards of the Coast will roll out the Fourth Edition of the Dungeons & Dragons rule set. This looks like it is well worth the wait!
